The Victoria Falls Bridge
The Victoria Falls Bridge is the second most visited tourist attraction in Victoria Falls after the falls. Built in 1905, the bridge which spans over 156 metres across the Zambezi River just below the Vic Falls provides a perfect view of the majestic Victoria Falls.
The bridge connects the two towns of Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and Livingstone – Zambia and was part of the Cecil John Rhodes dream to connect Africa by rail from Cape to Cairo.
The trilateral agreement between Zimbabwe, Zambia and United Nations World Tourism Organization to co-host the General Assembly was signed no this bridge. The magic of the bridge can be experienced through bridge slides, guided tours and thrilling bungee jumps off the bridge for adrenaline junkies.
