The Osborne Dam - Eastern Highlands / Manicaland
Osborne Dam is a major inland lake in Zimbabwe, and is just 38km northwest of Mutare. With bass fishing being the major attraction, the dam brings enthusiasts from all over to try and catch the elusive big fish. In addition to fishing visitors can enjoy walking safaris along the paths which lead to the Odzi River, bird watching, pony rides, wind surfing and canoeing. Game drives and water-based activities are very popular with visitors at this dam.
Self-catering lodges and camping sites with a capacity to accommodating up to three hundred people is available onsite. Braai facilities are also available.
