Resumption of International Flights
Zimbabwe reopens it’s airports for International Flights for the first time since March 2020. The following airlines are scheduled to resume International Flights
- Fast Jet : Harare to Johannesburg
- Ethopian Airlines : Addis Ababa to Harare
- Emirates : Dubai to Harare
Kenya Airways and Rwanda Air will resume on the 2nd of October. More Airlines are scheduled to resume in the coming weeks. Harare International Airport & stakeholders have put COVID 19 measures in place to assure travellers of their safety, i.e. sanitizing booths, manual & automated temperatures checks, social distancing marks. Travellers are also encouraged to be vigilant in regards to COVID 19.
It was a win for Zimbabwe Tourism as we witnessed Fastjet soaring again in the Zimbabwe skies resuming both its domestic & regional flights. The airline has ensured to follow COVID19 regulations which include sanitizing & giving each passenger a COVID 19 safety pack as they board. Whilst official flights have restarted today, Fastjet has also been instrumental during the COVID 19 pandemic through its repatriation flights between South Africa and Zimbabwe.
We caught up with Nina & Praise just as they landed in the Victoria Falls.
