The dam is also popular for its prime bass and bream fishing.
Fly camp was built in 1984 as an establishment area where you can view the elephants and other animals feeding. That is after oranges are taken to the juicing factory, the pulp is returned to the fly camp to feed the animals. There is nowhere in the world where one can view such a majestic animal in large numbers feeding in their own habitat. The elephants get all excited-they roll around in the pulp. The sound of trumpeting echoes against the rock it’s absolutely amazing.
The activities available at the Nottingham Estate are Sunset cruises, game drives, Bush Walks, Tour of the historic bushman caves, grain bins and cave paintings.
