Did you know? Dinosaur remains are found in Zimbabwe – Greater Mapungubwe

For the enthusiastic dinosaur fans who have watched the Jurassic Park movies, did you know that there are dinosaur remains in Zimbabwe? These are found in at Sentinel Range 75km from Beitbridge town and 35km off the Beitbridge – Bulawayo highway. The area is rich in historical sites which include numerous dinosaur beds that date back to a period to a period of 250 million years ago. The area also boasts of rich archaeological history and stone – age rock paintings.

When travel resumes, we encourage all Zimbabweans to visit the Mapungubwe area and connect with the Dinossaur era.
