A day trip to Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage in Bulawayo

Zimbabwe Tourism Authority is encouraging Bulawayo omuhle to take time and visit the Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage and Research Centre located 27km from the city centre along Gwanda Road. It is a haven of wild animals which have little hope for survival in the wild. Its home to lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, serval, tortoises, terrapins, crocodiles, birds of prey, a variety of antelopes and bush pigs. A natural history interpretation centre is on site with a tea room. You can end your day by having a braai or picnic on site. Chipangali wildlife orphanage is open daily from 8am to 4pm.
